Premier Division
Brentwood 139/2 (19
overs)
Buckhurst Hill 135 (45.2
overs)
Brentwood won by 8
wickets
Ian Belchamber claimed
figures of 3-35 as he helped his side dismiss Buckhurst Hill for just 135 and
they made light work of chasing this target down, reaching it in just 19 overs,
thanks largely to Tom Oakley's 66 not out from just 56 balls.
Chelmsford 184 (46
overs)
Shenfield 185/7 (44.3
overs)
Shenfield won by 3
wickets
Arshad Ali (3-24) and
Matthew Salisbury (3-45) helped restrict hosts Chelmsford to just 184 although
it could of been a lot worse for the hosts had Karamat Ali not contributed 64
batting an number nine. However the visitors managed to reach their
target with 5.3 overs to spare thanks to Ryan Plom's 85 not out with
Chelmsford's Anthony Hill claming figures of 3-40.
Hornchurch 349/4 (50
overs)
Colchester and East
Essex 257 (44.4 overs)
Hornchurch won by 92

Hornchurch tore the
visiting bowlers apart and were given a superb platform as openers Rashidi
Boucher (122) and Michael Bones (103) put on a massive 218 for the opening
wicket. Paul Walter then chipped in with 55 from just 29 deliveries to
help the hosts up to their huge total and then he then took 4-47 and colleague
Thomas Moore 3-43 as they dismissed their opponents 92 runs adrift. Andrew

helped restrict the hosts to just 161/8 as they struggled with the bat.
The same cannot be said for the visitors though as they blitzed their way
to the 162 target, reaching it in the 21st over, thanks to openers Mdaminul
Isalm Shihan (69) and Raihan Hussain (53no) getting the innings off to a flier.
Robert Rayner did take 3-29 for the hosts but it was all in vain.

overs)

Thundersley won by 39 runs

dismissing them for just 110 to claim a 39 run win.

visitors posted 250/9. Iqbal then took 3-35 but he and his team mates
were powerless to prevent the hosts from chasing down their target with ten
balls to spare, thanks to fifties from Phil Gray (71no) and Oliver Wagstaff
(58).

Goulding (4-42) and Saghir Rabbani (4-53) took advantage of this and then saw
fifties from Richard Baughan (76no) and Paul Miller (68no) share an unbroken
