Colchester and East Essex won by 5 wickets
With the match reduced to 45 overs a side due a delayed start the visitors batted first and were bowled out for just 123 with Ben Stephens taking 3-17.  In response the hosts lost five wickets in pursuit of the 124 target but skipper Tom Ullyott's 76 not out helped them cruise to their target with 12.3 overs to spare.

Hutton opening batsmen Mitchell Fenn struck 67 as his side posted 229/9 in their 50 overs with Harlow Town bowler Shaun Alderson taking 3-43.  Fifties from Patrick Yates (70) and Ashley Alderson (53) had the hosts in a good position at 106/1 but then collapsed to 120/5 and although they managed to put on 73 for the sixth wicket, they lost four wickets for thirty runs attempting to reach the 230 target and fell agonisingly short to lose by two runs, with Jon Hammond taking 4-53.

Horndon On The Hill 168 all out
Old Southendian & Southchurch 144 all out
Horndon On The Hill won by 24 runs
Hosts Horndon will have to solely thank middle order batsman and skipper Jeff West for posting any sort of target, after he hit 105 in his sides 168 all out in 39 overs.  However this looked likely to still not be enough runs to win but the hosts bowlers had other ideas and exploited the visitors batting line up, and helped by Jack Marson's 3-22 they bowled out Old Southendians for just 144 in 48.1 overs and take a 24 run victory.

Wickford 87 all out
Belhus 89/2 wkts
Belhus won by 8 wickets
Belhus bowler Daniel Dreher took a magnificent 5-28 off his ten overs as his side bowled out Wickford for a miserable 87 in 35.3 overs.  It was no surprise therefore that the visitors cruised to their target with almost thirty overs to spare thanks to Joe Joyce's 51 not out to win by eight wickets.

However both fell and the innings fell apart thereafter and saw Ben Munday take a hat trick in posting figures of 5-45 to help his side to a 63 run win.

Epping 106 all out
Stanford Le Hope 229 all out
Stanford Le Hope won by 123 runs
Fifties from visiting openers Martin Leslie (72) and Michael Gray (55) gave them a platform to build a large total, however they lost their way somewhat and had to rely on Jack Carter's 52 in the middle order to get them up to 229, with Javed Iqbal taking 3-34.  However the hosts didn't get anywhere near the 230 target as Jack Carter completed a wonderful all round display taking 5-22 in ten overs in helping his side rout Epping for just 106 and take a 123 run victory.

Ardleigh Green won by 2 runs
Visitors Ardleigh Green saw their batting line up fail as they were bowled out for just 111 in 34.5 overs with Yasir Ghayas taking 3-9.  Incredibly though this proved a winning total as Simon Jeffries (3-8), James Duhig (3-17) and Muhammad Asif (3-36) saw the hosts bowled out for 109 in 27.3 overs, with Zia Anwar hitting 50 of them, as the vistors ran out winners by two runs.

Westcliff-On-Sea 227 all out
Benfleet 131 all out
Westcliff-On-Sea won by 96 runs
Westcliff opener Charlie Lockhart hit 102 and was ably supported by Matt Renvoize who hit 59 off 61 deliveries, as the hosts posted 227, this after they were 198/2, but then lost their last eight wickets for just 29 runs with Paul Frensham (4-33) and Gareth Steed (3-39) doing the damage with the ball.  But despite a decent innings of 56 from skipper Gavin Blowes, the visitors were dismissed for just 131 with the pick of the bowlers being Alex Hatton (3-29) and Tom Baker (3-41) seeing the home side to a 96 run win.

Fives and Heronians 161 all out
Upminster 162/5 wkts
Upminster won by 5 wickets
Visitors Upminster chased down 162 to take victory over Fives and Heronians and continue their decent start to the season.  The hosts set that target largely thanks to Gary Norris's 51 but 5-64 from visiting opening bowler John Curtis made sure the target was a small one.  And Upminster duly strolled to their target thanks to a brilliant 93 from opening batsman Shahbaz Butt and record a five wicket win, this despite hosts bowler Sarfaraz Ahmed recording figures of 4-44.

Hadleigh & Thundersley 112 all out
Harlow 132 all out
Harlow won by 20 runs
Visitors Harlow defended 132 to take a twenty run victory over Hadleigh & Thundersley.  Harlow's entire innings was pretty much down to one man, Ahmed Khawaja, who struck 102 off 88 balls in his sides 132 all out.  Owen Lynch took 3-1 in eight balls for the hosts and they looked set for the win.  However Mohammed Waqas took 5-20 for Harlow and helped by Callum Sykes's 3-29 they bowled out the hosts for just 112, and took a remarkable win in the process.

Harold Wood 96/1 wkt
Loughton 92 all out
Harold Wood won by 9 wickets
Hosts Harold Wood strolled to a nine wicket win after bowling out Loughton for just 92.  It could of been much worse for the visitors had opening batsman Bilal Butt not hit 48, over half the innings runs, as the visitors struggled.  Maruf Chowdhury took 4-22 for the hosts and then saw his sides reply go according to plan and after loosing Burham Mahmood early on, Craig Perrin (57no) and Raihan Hussain (34no) saw the hosts to a nine wicket victory.

Orsett & Thurrock 102 all out
Billericay 63 all out

Southend-on-Sea & EMT 238/8 wkts
